This is my favorite Chinese spot. They stack it til it can't close, and the Thai tea is fucken perfect. Very cheap and simple.

The food gets two stars for the abundance they give you and one extra star for the low price. The chow mien and rice have no flavor and the kung pao chicken was okay too. There's better Americanized Chinese food out there but if you are in the area and on a budget then this is the place to go.

This will be the last time I come to OK Chinese in HLP. So very disappointed with their food and especially their chicken. Order a two item meal with rice and chow mein. Boy you think if you cook all these dishes daily you know what to do. Both chow mein and fried rice sucked! Tasted with no flavor. Let's just mix noodles and frozen peas, carrots and whatever we have. The fried chicken their signature chicken tasted rotten. It's frozen wings but the taste was not good. The orange chicken also tasted rotten. Like WTF! Where do you order your chicken or do you leave it out for a long time? This is just too bad. Place makes me think twice in ordering anything. Won't return and won't eat anything from here if it's at one of a party I go to.

For all the people expecting great service with your super cheap food. Get over yourselves and your one star reviews. This place has the best fried chicken wings ever for less than $10 you can feed like 5 people with the amount of wings they give you.  Also, if you're going to walk into a place named "OK Chinese" and expect "AMAZING" chinese food, maybe you should go to some fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills (not in Highland Park). Many of the workers don't speak English and have bills to pay just like anyone else. So if they don't look super excited to see you, they probably aren't. So get your chicken and get outta there. Oh and stop being a douche. Seriously, you entitled prick.

I asked for 2 combos to go and the lady who was the server, was also the the cashier and started serving my food in the to go box and she didn't even put on gloves.
She filled it up pretty good but she didn't wash her hands when she started serving me or put on gloves either which is very unsanitary and disgusting, then when she closed the box there was rice and chow Mein sticking out of the box and with her thumbs she closed the box and touched my food. Then she rang me up, I told her that she needs to wear gloves or wash her hands and she smiled and laughed and said Yes I know but she obviously didn't do it and she's touching dirty money and then serving food. I'll never eat here again, this is just very unsanitary. And also the Chow Mein was very, very dry with no flavor or sauce whatsoever and when I asked for sweet and sour she charged me twenty five cents.
